JAFCO Asia Formally Renamed JIF Capital

Reaffirms leadership continuity and regional platform stability under new management

JIF Capital

. (“JIF Capital”), formerly JAFCO Investment (Asia Pacific) Ltd. (“JAFCO
Asia”), today formally announced its renaming to JIF Capital, marking the next
phase of its development as an independent Asia-focused venture and growth
investment platform.

The firm
confirmed that its investment team, country leadership and regional structure
remain unchanged. JIF Capital will continue operating under the same investment
philosophy, governance standards and fund mandates that have guided the
platform over the past decades.

JIF Capital is
led by Chief Executive Officer Carmen Yuen, formerly a General Partner at Vertex
Ventures Southeast Asia and India, and Managing Partner Koichi Saito, previously a General Partner at KK Fund.

The regional
leadership team includes:

Swee Ting
Pan
– Managing Director. With more than 18 years of investment experience, Swee Ting leads the
firm’s Shanghai and Beijing activities and has delivered exits through U.S.
IPOs, A-share IPOs and strategic trade sales across Internet, Fintech and Frontier
Technology sectors.

Edward Lee
Managing
Director. With over 15
years of investment experience, Edward leads the investment activities in Taipei. He has shaped investment strategies and built
high-impact portfolios across Artificial Intelligence, MedTech and Circular
Energy.

Supriya
Singh
– Senior Director & Head of Investment in Southeast Asia and India. With 14 years of experience leading
investments across India, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, Supriya
has spearheaded cross-border capital deployment aligned with regional fund
mandates. She has worked closely with portfolio company AnyMind since 2017,
supporting its acquisition of Pokkt in 2020 and leveraging the firm’s Japan
network to contribute to its Tokyo Stock Exchange listing in March 2023.

As part of
this transition, the firm has undertaken a structured review of its regional
operating model and governance framework, reaffirming its long-term mandate to
deploy capital with discipline and insight to create durable value for limited
partners across Asian markets.
